Running on from last meetings thread,
Well done Dee for being so inspiring! and Thank You to the Bovey Tracey Activities Trust members for their generosity. The foundation team also said they might be in touch about putting you in the newsletter when I was chatting to them about it.

Likewise running on from last meeting's thread,
Very impressive Dee!
In addition to it going in the newsletter, you may wish to include something about it on our website...
As regards the foodbank - last Friday's Foodbank Friday - we managed to achieve our greatest amount of donations and Rosie was given a really warm welcome when she delivered them!

Hi Everyone
I attended the South East District Conference over the weekend.Good company. Best things about it was that again this year it was at The University here in Canterbury, so no hotel required.Excellent speakers. I was approached by DG Elect with a contact name wishing to join our club. Details passed to Chris. Let's hope its another member. Was approached by Rotary Radio who wanted an interview about us. Um that's a no then. Not me. Again details passed to Chris. Maybe we'll hear the piece soon. Apparently there is an avid following in New Zealand. They said there is a big spike at 2am our time, which I think is about 2pm their time.
That's it for now

Ideas for celebrating World Polio Day 2019 on Thursday 24th October???
Hello everybody
Five weeks from today is World Polio Day!
Does anyone have plans to celebrate it and wish to share them with us?
An easy one perhaps is to wear the colour purple... Could be a conversation starter?
What do others think?
