Hello and welcome to the new Forum meeting.
We have started the new Rotary Year well. We may be down to 13 members at the minute, but 12 of them attended the last forum meeting. You don't have to say anything but when you sign in the forum logs that and we can follow participation.
It is great that so many of you have something to say and that we are moving forward in terms of this being our formal meeting.
I am trying to get some content for the forum, but as ever life gets in the way. The last problem I have now solved is my swimming pool It was green and now it isn't. Most of you know I live in Portugal and having your pool down is more of a problem here than it ever was in Todmorden!! If any of you have anything you want to see on the forum or, better still, anything you want to contribute I would be pleased to hear from you.
Paul - I know nothing of Zoom. Can you let us know more about it, although I am not sure if I will be up at 03:00!!

Chris, I sympathise greatly! I was at my mother's place north of Marbella recently and her pool had the same issue. To say the current temperatures required it to be quickly solved is an understatement!

Hi Chris, A different location for me this week as I've been working in Berlin. Now at the very basic Berlin Tegel airport waiting for a flight back to Heathrow Terminal 5 - which many would confuse with a major shopping centre! The beauty of this way of meeting is that I can contribute next to the Pretzel / Bockwurst stand that seems to be only airside catering available. Good thing I like German sausage. :-) A very international group at the class I attended - German, Belgian, Italian, Spanish, Swiss and English. At least the lunches in the local Italian restaurant allowed the Italians in the group to comment on how bad pizzas are outside Italy!
