Au Revoir from your outgoing President...
I thought it might be nice to have a bit of a... what are we really proud of this year (anything special that you might like to share) and what can we do even better next year (that's mainly aimed at me!)? I have had a fantastic time being one of your central points of contact this year and learning just a little bit of the many many many amazing things you do.
Please could I ask you just to take a minute to pop something from the last year that you are proud of or that you would like to see in the future in this fortnights Meeting Thread?
Have a lovely end of year
Best wishes
Emily

Thanks, Emily. And thank you for taking the time to be President. Personally, it's been interesting for me to join the e-club - and I have high hopes that another Rotarian from this District 1175, will be joining us for next year. I've been helping this lady, Denise, in organising an art exhibition, to be held in August '19, - a job I had for some 3 years in the past. Also been helping another club with marshalling with their annual marathon. Small beginnings, but may lead to bigger things.
I hope everyone is well, and look forward to 2020 year. Best wishes Dee

Emily
A big thank you from me, for all the questions you have helped me with. Glad you enjoyed your year. I'm so new to this club, though a Rotarian for 4 years and I don't believe in criticism anyway
The only suggestion I have is Badges. As I visit clubs most ask me where my name badge is. Is it a thought please??. I am also sad I can never tune in to the online speakers on a Wednesday as I'm travelling at the time and can't do two things !!!. I feel I am loosing out but can't do anything about Granny duties.
I had a lovely evening last Monday 17th at Faversham Club. They are only 30 members but very hardworking in the local community and have this year helped to raise £10,000 for local causes. A gold start for them I think.
Her'e to 2019 / 20 and even more positive stuff. All the clubs I have visited so far are really interested in our club.
